Hey Reader, In this house I've been waking up to sports and falling asleep to sports. From the baseball playoffs to the hockey season opening and, of course, our beloved Steelers, there seem to be sports on the tv 24/7. (While I'm here on the corner of the couch reading a good book and only looking up when there's some cheering going on.) TODAY'S FREEBIEOver the past year I've been building up our collection of paper bag puppet characters in various sports. Have you had a chance to grab the template for our baseball player yet?
We just used a marker to make his hair, but there are also several hair options included in the templates. You can make your player a boy or a girl too and use whatever team colors are your favorites. IN THE SHOPOne of the many amazing benefits of making crafts with your kids is that it improves fine motor skills. This collection of projects goes through several craft supplies and how to best use them to promote fine motor skills. I've combined my love of kids' crafts and my years of being a pediatric occupational therapist in this one collection.
TRENDING CRAFTS And now let's talk Sports crafts. You'll see lots more player puppets on this list and some other fun sports crafts to give a try.
